ANME Closes its Doors After 30 Years

After 30 years, the Adult Novelties and Manufacturers Expo (ANME), the trade show for the pleasure products industry, has decided to close the doors for good. The show was held annually in Burbank, California, its final last July.

“It is difficult to put three decades into words,” begins the founders of ANME in a letter, “What began as a trade show became something much bigger. ANME became a place where an industry came together—not simply to buy and sell products, but to build relationships, exchange ideas, celebrate successes, and create friendships that extended far beyond the show floor.”

In 1996, the original founders included Susan Colvin of CalExotics, Elliot Schwartz of Nasstoys, and Ron and Chad Braverman of Doc Johnson. The Founders also included Pipedream Products and Topco for many decades.

They go on to say, “We are incredibly proud of what we built together. We helped expand the industry’s reach, created a place where people could come together as a community, and made 30 years’ worth of wonderful memories in the process. While ANME Founders is coming to a close, the relationships, friendships, and community that grew around it will continue. It has been an extraordinary run, and it has been our privilege to share it with all of you. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for 30 unforgettable years.”
