A new study from We-Vibe shows that the sex lives between men who use sex toys with a partner and those who don’t are very different. Out of all respondents to the survey, 59% of men have used sex toys with a partner, while 41% do not.
The data below reveals a surprising divide in men’s sexual habits—and points to how introducing sex toys can be the key to a better sex life. Key findings about men who use sex toys:
- They are twice as likely to have sex weekly. 63% of these men report having sex at least once a week, compared to just 32% of those who don’t.
- They report high levels of sexual satisfaction. 77% of men who use sex toys with a partner are satisfied with their sex lives.
- They are more likely to have anal sex and threesomes. Men who use sex toys are twice as likely to explore anal sex (50%) and threesomes (27%) compared to those who don’t (29% and 15%, respectively).
- They masturbate more often. 82% of sex toy users masturbate weekly, compared to 46.3% of non-users.
However, most men would try sex toys if asked. Even among those who don’t currently use them, over half (53.6%) would be open to trying them if their partner suggested it.
*Conducted in February 2025, this survey involved a sample of 490 men in the United States, ranging in age from 18 to 65, with 92% of respondents reporting that they are heterosexual.
