Squirt Passes 25 Years as a Cruising-First Legacy Platform and Launches Its First-Ever App

Squirt.org, one of the earliest and longest-lasting online platforms serving gay, bi, queer and curious men, is celebrating over 25 years of operation and announcing the rollout of its first dedicated mobile app, SQ Dating – Gay Chat & Meet.

Originally launched in 1999, Squirt built its reputation as a real-time, community-driven space centered on direct connection, cruising culture, and location-based discovery. The new app extends that legacy into an app-store-friendly experience focused on browsing and chat, while remaining connected to the existing Squirt ecosystem.

“At just over 25 years in, the reason Squirt still matters is simple: we’ve stayed clear on what we are and who we serve,” said Andrew Nolan, Head of Dating Businesses at Pink Triangle Press. “The app is an evolution of that same mission, built for mobile accessibility while keeping the experience anonymous, queer-forward, immediate, and rooted in real-world connection, no matter if you live in a large city or a tiny town.”

SQ Dating is currently available on the Google Play Store.
