Casey Murphy Releases New Marketing Tools for Sexual Wellness Brands

Pleasure products marketing veteran Casey Murphy has released Nevermind the Holidays and Nevermind the Algorithm, two ready-to-use digital marketing tools. Nevermind the Holidays is a 54-page anthology of more than 600 observances from September 2026 through September 2027, spanning gender and identity, health and accessibility, kink and alternative lifestyles, LGBTQIA+ topics, pop culture, relationships, reproductive health, sexual wellness, and broader cultural observances.

“Nevermind the Holidays has been my north star since 2016,” she said. “I expand it every year with unique, offbeat observances I can use across clients ranging from product manufacturers and retailers to sexual health educators.”

The PDF download also includes Sexual Wellness Content Marketing Do’s and Don’ts, a practical application guide, and a curated directory of 100 online resources to support independent research.

She added, “Black Friday and Valentine’s Day are low-hanging fruit. The real opportunity is in the observances many brands overlook. For example, Spectrum Boutique used National Appreciate a Dragon Day to spotlight fantasy toys. It’s the kind of personal touch that tells customers you know who they are, gives brands room to express their personality, and creates unexpected opportunities for creative cross-merchandising.”

Nevermind the Algorithm, a companion release, is a quick-reference guide to alternative verbiage for sensitive health and wellness terminology across 12 categories.

Murphy began her marketing career at Universal Music in 2002, when brands and bands were experimenting with platforms like LiveJournal and Myspace as marketing tools. Since then, she has witnessed content marketing evolve into an “increasingly complicated environment for sexual health and wellness content.”

“These digital guides give wellness marketers a practical starting point for content planning, research, and finding the right language to talk about them,” she concluded. Both printable PDFs are now available online. Contact hello@thecaseymurphy.com for more information.
