ERIKALUST to Release “If Only I Had a Dick” Based on Iconic Performer Stoya’s Fantasy

New York, 16th April 24: Award-winning filmmaker Erika Lust and writer, director, and porn industry icon Stoya release ‘If Only I Had a Dick’, an erotic meditation on our phallocentric culture based on Stoya’s own sexual fantasy- what’s the phallus’ role in our society and how would someone who doesn’t own it feel and act if they had one for 24 hours?

The film follows the story of a cisgender woman who fantasizes about the idea of having a dick, inspired by Fiona Gile’s “Dick for a Day: What Would You Do If You Had One?”, and it features sex performers Calita Fire, Catherine Knight, and Tommy Cabrio, who acted as a penis double. This was the first time ERIKALUST used a penis double on set, a feat that required precise skill for the filming, acting, and editing processes.

“If Only I had a Dick” is Stoya’s directorial debut with ERIKALUST, a movie that makes this character’s fantasy a reality – Calita wakes up one day owning a penis. What would sex feel like for her now? What can she do with this newly acquired genitalia?

Stoya’s film is a cinematic interpretation of Fiona Giles’ feminist anthology, a piece with a collection of interviews on the subject of how someone would act if they had a penis for just 24 hours. Both pieces spring up this same question: what would you do if you had a Dick for a Day? in “If Only I Had a Dick”, Calita spends the whole day doing all she’s envisioned doing with this new apparatus, from swishing and swinging to calling her best friend to test things out in the hottest way possible.

Stoya is a semi-retired porn performer, writer, and director. She’s half of Slate’s ‘How to Do it’ column and is the author of ‘Philosophy Pussycats & Porn’.  She’s been directing herself for a few years, as well as for certain scenes where she isn’t in front of the camera.

In Stoya’s words, “The story’s main point is this empathy between people with different genitals and what it’s like to fuck with a penis! Dicks telegraph how you’re feeling, and they mean so much in our world – they are indicators of power.” What would happen if we equipped female bodies with dicks, and all the significance that comes with that?
